Cam Levins to Race First Marathon in TorontoBy Adam Kopet Cam Levins will make his marathon debut at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, according to Dan Way for Canadian Running. Levins, the former Canadian record holder at 10,000 meters, signed with HOKA ONE ONE this year and made the move to running big road races, with a few track races sprinkled into his schedule. He made his half marathon debut at the Houston Half Marathon in January, finishing 37th place in 1:05:00. Levins followed that up with a 30th-place finish at the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships in March, running 1:02:15. Prior to his marathon debut Oct. 21, Levins will test his fitness Sept. 16 at a half marathon in Philadelphia. Levins splits his time between Cedar City, Utah, where he trains with his former college coach, and Portland, Ore., where his wife works as a pharmacist. More news |
